Good morning, ma'am,
The pharmacist can prescribe an antibiotic for a urinary tract infection, but only if
  • You have received a prescription for a urinary tract infection within the last 4 years;
  • You do not have a fever;
  • You are not pregnant;
  • Your current symptoms are similar to the symptoms of your previous UTI
If you meet these criteria, you can stop by the pharmacy as soon as possible to start treatment. Remember to drink plenty of water to flush out the germs that cause the infection
Take care of yourself,
Lucie, pharmacist
