For medical reasons, I cannot breastfeed my 3 week old baby. He seems to have difficulty digesting the Good Start formula (both the ready-to-feed and the powder). The doctor says we can try another brand. Do you have a recommendation between Enfamil and Similac?

Hello Mrs. and congratulations on the new addition to the family!
Nestlé (Good Start), Johnson (Enfamil) and Abbott (similac) are 3 brands that we have the most experience with. Since breast milk is easier to digest, your baby will need a period of adjustment in order to digest any of these formulas.
As with all humans, his tastes may be different as well, so you may want to try Enfamil or Similac.
I suggest trying small amounts at a time to avoid too much regurgitation.
There are other alternatives as well for infants with certain intolerances or constipation (e.g. you could try an iron-reduced formulation if that's the case), but in general, Enfamil or Similac should do the trick.
Hopefully I've answered adequately, please feel free to contact me with anything!
