What can I do about itching at the vaginal entrance?

For almost two months now, on the outside around the entrance of my vagina, it has been itchy. It is disturbing (less than at the beginning because I think I got used to it) and new for me. I use a contraceptive, the Lolo pill. Moreover, I have been having unprotected sex with the same partner for more than 2 years.

On the face of it, if you have noticed this at any time, I would be inclined to suggest the following non-pharmacological measures:
- Encourage the use of a moisturizer like Replens as needed, as well as the use of a water-based lubricant like KY during sex.
- Check to see if intercourse makes the situation worse or not, including if ejaculation occurs.
- Do not use soap, cleansers or douches as they can make symptoms worse
- Wear loose-fitting clothing and cotton underwear as they allow for better breathing.
If the situation persists despite these measures, I recommend that you consult a doctor, if only to be on the safe side and to avoid delaying the management of the situation if necessary.
