Is it normal that when I take the pill my periods are much reduced or absent?

Menstruation is decreasing and even absent sometimes since a few months. Pregnancy test negative, I have been taking birth control pills for more than 10 years (I am 25 years old). No dlr related to these symptoms Is it possible that this is a post-vaccine symptom for covid? The dates are consistent with my vaccinations and the considerable decrease in my periods.

Hello, thank you for your question!
In order to better understand the situation, would it be possible to obtain the following information:
  • What contraceptive are you currently taking? Have there been any changes in the schedule of taking it (taken at different times of the day)?
  • When did you receive your vaccinations?
Thanks in advance!

Hello!!
I am taking the Aviane 21 pill (0.10mg/0.02mg)
I have never really taken the pill at the same time since the very beginning when I started it, but this is really the first time its symptoms have happened to me.
I received my shots on July 19 and May 21, 2021.
Thank you!!!

Thanks for the clarification!
For some people, taking it really at the same time will be necessary to decrease the extent of these symptoms. If you are willing to try, I would encourage you to take your contraceptive at the same time, even if it means setting an alarm on your phone if you are at risk of forgetting.
It will be 4 months since you had your 2nd dose. If it's secondary to the vaccine, it shouldn't be an issue now.
Hopefully I've helped you, I'm still available if you have any other questions!
