I forgot a dose of sertraline

Question

I have been taking Sertraline for a month and I forgot to take 1 pill. Do I have to start my treatment again? Negative effects??? If I feel like having a little alcohol and I don't take my Sertraline pill, will I still have side effects? Perfect! Thank you so much

Hello. Just one missed sertraline capsule usually doesn't cause problems. If it is still close to the time you usually take it, take it. Don't take it yet if it's too close to your next intake, don't double the dose. One to two occasional drinks of alcohol is usually not a problem with this medication.
