Hello, I am currently taking the birth control pill. However, I would like to get pregnant in about 9 months.

I'm wondering if there are any vitamins or other things that can be taken in the months before pregnancy to help the process? I don't know if there are or if it doesn't matter and I know that it depends on each person, but I'm asking anyway. Thanks

Your return to fertility after stopping the pill is immediate, so you can stop in 8-9 months. However, I suggest that you start a folic acid supplement 3 months before stopping to reduce the risk of neural tube defects for the baby. A dose of 1 mg every day is generally recommended unless there are cases of neural tube defects in your family or if you are taking other medications such as epilepsy treatments on a regular basis
