This can occur following an episode of illness (or vaccination), stress, fatigue, change of schedule or even for no detectable reason, but does not necessarily indicate a problem as long as it remains mild and temporary. I encourage you to continue taking your contraceptive as planned if you are willing to do so.

If the bleeding persists for more than 14 days or gets worse, a break of 3 to 4 days is suggested in some references. This will not affect the effectiveness of Linessa as long as the break does not exceed 7 days and it has been taken for at least 21 consecutive days before without misses.
