really bad timing. Can I change my nuvaring on May 25, the day before, after only 20 days (instead of 21) without changing the effectiveness of the contraceptive?

Hello,
Since you are taking Nuvaring continuously, you could change it earlier and it will not affect the contraceptive effectiveness, and you should not have a period either.
You could also change it a few days later, as the effect may continue a little after the 21 days, this will not affect the contraceptive effect as long as a new ring is used no later than 7 days after the scheduled change date. You may, however, have a period in this case.
