Hello, I would like to know if it is normal that Lamotrigine causes me to have a stronger heartbeat.

Hello,
After a little research, I was able to find that palpitations can occur with lamotrigine at a frequency of 1-2%.
So, if your "stronger heartbeat" occurred after starting the treatment or following a dose increase, it could be related but it is unlikely
If this happens frequently or if it bothers you, I suggest that you discuss it with your pharmacist so that we can identify the cause
I hope that I have answered your question correctly,
