Can we get the influenza vaccine if we have had it recently?

We had influenza last week. Can we still get the vaccine? Is there a wait time between the illness and the vaccine? This would be for the whole family, so my two children (2 and 3 years old) as well.

Good morning, Madam,
In general, it is possible to get vaccinated against influenza even if you recently contracted the infection. However, we must keep in mind that we could have side effects from the vaccine such as pain at the injection site, fatigue and headaches. So, ideally, we want the whole family to be in a good general condition (no fever, no symptoms or minor symptoms) to prevent a deterioration of our condition after the vaccine.
