Does amoxicillin affect the birth control pill?

hello, i have to take 3 antibiotics a day for 3 days for a wisdom tooth infection. it's amoclane eg (amoxicillin) 500mg. i'm also taking the contraceptive pill (lavinia), and this week is my recovery week. i live in belgium, and it's a generic. it's called lavinia 0,10mg/0,02mg (levonorgestrel/ ethinylestradiol). i recently saw on the internet that cannabis can also cancel the effects of a combined pill. can you confirm this? i find this very surprising...

Hello, Madam, I could not find this contraceptive in my databases, would it be possible to know where you got it? Thank you for the feedback! Unfortunately, I am not able to answer you properly since this product is not sold in Canada. You will have to ask the person who served it to you. I can tell you that amoxicillin will not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive, unless it causes diarrhea.
