Hello, can teething in an 8 month old baby be the cause of the return of reflux?

Hello, my 8 1/2 month old daughter had reflux when she was born (always seemed to chew, cried when she was drinking, would regurgitate a little). We switched to nutramigen milk following the pediatrician's recommendations and the reflux gradually stopped. She now eats 3 meals a day and drinks the same milk. We have introduced all the allergens, but I give her very little dairy products because I find that she does not seem to tolerate them well. It's been a week since she has taken dairy products, but I have noticed for a few days that she is regurgitating again when she hasn't done that for months. She also cries when she has a burp during her feedings. I very rarely give her tomatoes and citrus fruits so as not to irritate her.

Hello,
Yes it's been shown that teething can exacerbate reflux or reoccur, so be careful about feeding, positioning the child and splitting boxes and consult a doctor . One must be vigilant especially period of the baby's sleep.
