My 1 month old son has pimples on his face. I thought it was baby acne but now it has gotten much worse.

I applied Cutibase cream twice yesterday before it got worse

Good morning, ma'am,
Are there any lesions elsewhere on the body? Has there been any exposure to a new soap, cream, detergent or other product?
How would you describe his general condition? Does he have any other symptoms such as fever?
Thank you for your help!

He has a few pimples on his upper torso too. Nothing new except the Cutibase hydration cream that I applied twice yesterday on his face. His general condition is good, he seems to have a growth spurt so he is a little more irritable but nothing more.

Thanks for the feedback!
Keep in mind that babies have very very sensitive skin and pimples are common. You did the right thing by applying a moisturizer like Cutibase. Avoid applying soap or shampoo to the face during bath time in particular, and lightly pat the skin after the bath instead of rubbing vigorously.
Otherwise, just monitor the situation. It usually stabilizes and goes away on its own.
If other symptoms occur such as fever, significant change in the appearance of the pimples, deterioration of the general condition, you should consult a physician as a precaution.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
