My one year old son woke up with swollen eyes and secretions?

Hello, my 1 year old son woke up this morning with swollen eyes and a lot of yellowish discharge from both eyes. I can easily try his eyes after 30 minutes because they are so runny. I have been doing the St. Justine method for a few days now since he has a cold, but he never had any discharge until today. Can I give him polysporin drops? If not, what can I do to relieve him? Thank you They are clear and yellowish thick Even though it has a slimy texture i don't want to waste your time. I managed to get an appointment with the doctor tomorrow thank you for your help
