Good morning, ma'am,
What was the treatment exactly?
Did you have any other symptoms such as discharge or other?

I had no symptoms other than the itching in my labia minora. I went to the pharmacy to get fluconazole. It's been 5 days since the end of the treatment and the itching is still present. I started 2 days ago the external application of clotrimazole 2% and it decreased my itching.
I am with a stable partner.
Our STD tests are negative.
The only change is the contraceptive method which is new since 4 months. I have noticed that since using my vaginal ring I am more prone to vaginal yeast infections. So I stopped using the ring 10 days ago.

Thank you for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I hadn't seen the notification!
Indeed, the ring may be associated with an increased risk of infections.
It is possible that a longer treatment of the vaginitis is necessary, however this is done after a medical evaluation to rule out other causes. If symptoms persist for 3 days after starting treatment with the cream or return, you should seek medical attention.
I hope I have been helpful, I remain available if you have any further questions!
