Hello, I think I have yeast vaginitis since I have severe itching. I took a dose of Canesten (three days) but the symptoms persist. Hello Mister Maurier, I don't have any different discharge or associated odor! I will try fluconazole!

Hello! Symptoms are usually treated after the treatment. If the Canestin didn't work, you could try a treatment of Fluconazole 150mg. This is a medication available behind the pharmacy counter, and taking only 1 tablet by mouth is enough to treat the infection! If after trying this treatment the symptoms still don't go away, it would be appropriate to talk to a doctor about receiving a prescribed treatment.
