Is it possible for a pharmacist to change my contraceptive (other pills or patches, etc.) for at least 3-6 months? The time to see a doctor

Hello. Since January 2022 I have been using Alesse 28 contraceptive pills but I have noticed that since I started, my mental health has really taken a hit. For nothing I start to get depressed and to question my whole life. I don't have a family doctor, it's hard for me to find an appointment right now 🙁

Hello, ma'am,
Unfortunately, pharmacists cannot substitute the type of contraception if you are already taking one. Furthermore, the situation you describe must be evaluated by a physician to rule out other possible causes. You will need to make an appointment or see a doctor without an appointment.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
