Is it possible to give Advil or Tylenol at the same time as Helixia?

My boy is 18 months old, congested, feverish and coughing. I would like to give him Helixia syrup, but I wonder if I can give it to him at the same time as tylenol and/or advil

Good morning, ma'am,
There are no contraindications to giving Tylenol or Advil with Helixia.
However, keep in mind that the first line of treatment will be nasal hygiene to prevent secretions from running down the throat and causing a cough. Helixia is unlikely to be effective for this purpose.
It is not recommended to combine Tylenol and Advil to relieve fever, unless medical advice and supervision is obtained. One of the two should be sufficient to control the fever.
I hope this has been helpful to you and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Hello, thank you!
We already do nasal hygiene about 6 times a day and we try not to combine advil and tylenol, however, I was told that it was not problematic (administration at 1/2h intervals and to respect the dosage - during a visit to Ste-Justine). We are not going to do it anymore
Thank you!

Is it serious to combine?

in this way?

Thanks for the feedback!
This is not a dangerous combination for your child. It's just that one of the two should be enough to relieve the fever. If not, the combination could be hiding a more severe problem.
This applies even if they are spaced 30 minutes or more apart.
