Can Nasonex cause symptoms of pharyngitis, or throat irritation?

Hello, I was prescribed Nasonex nasal spray 50mcg because my doctor thinks I have sinusitis due to constant pressure on my eyebrows and a little water in my ears. I have read in the comments that it is possible to get pharyngitis after taking this medication. Is this common? And if so, does it resolve itself? And can there be other complications such as tonsillitis following this? I'm very worried about this because I've already had tonsillitis and it was excruciating! Thank you very much and have a nice day :)

Hello, I was prescribed Nasonex 50mcg nasal spray by my doctor because she suspects a chronic sinusitis (I have a constant pressure on my eyebrows + a little water in my ears and a lot of allergies)
I read in the description of the medication that it is possible to develop pharyngitis after taking this medication
How common is this?

And can there be other complications such as tonsillitis following this?
I'm a little worried because I've already had tonsillitis and I really don't want to have this on top of what I already have!
Thank you very much and have a nice day :)

Good morning, ma'am,
According to the manufacturer, this product can cause nasopharyngeal irritation. However, this is rare.
If it remains persistent or uncomfortable, I strongly suggest that you speak with your pharmacist who can suggest alternatives to your doctor if deemed necessary.
Sincerely,

Hello,
thank you for your answer.
can all Nasal products for this type of problem (sinusitis) cause it, or is it this brand?

Corticosteroid sprays like this one can all, at some point, cause this
