Hello,
Yes, this is quite normal, especially if you've been in rough terrain.
Apply ice for about 10 minutes every hour on your ankle and try not to put too much strain on it over the next 2-3 days, or until it hardly hurts.
This way, you'll be able to get back on the mount next week :)
