I have a recurring problem with mushrooms coming back?

Hello, I just spent 20 days of treatment with lamisil for an infection in my groin. Even if I keep the area clean and dry, the fungus won't go away. I have a recurring problem with fungus that comes back 3 to 5 times a year, mostly in the groin. I have also tried other antifungals, like loprox, klotrimaderm, ketaderm, etc. But it always comes back. But it always comes back. I think the loprox has worked the best so far, but the fungus came back only one month after the end of the treatment (3 weeks)

Hello sir!
Resistance to all these drugs is possible, but very unlikely. Sometimes a longer treatment is suggested, such as 2 months, and the cream should be applied to the affected area and up to 3cm around it
That being said, the fact that you have had an infection in the past could make you more susceptible to a new infection, unfortunately
I hope this has been helpful to you and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
