Hello ma'am, although unpleasant, swallowing the saline solution does not indicate a problem. I would like to reassure you that this is a difficult ordeal to do with a baby. Just monitor his general condition and I encourage you to use nasal hygiene followed by the baby's nose as often as necessary during the day and at least 30 minutes before meals and bedtime.
