Hello, I would like to know if we can give activated charcoal capsules to an 8 year old child. For prevention of gastro contact but without symptoms. If so, what dose is recommended?

Hello madam, no dose of activated charcoal is recommended for this indication, especially since it has not been shown to be effective for this purpose.

The best prevention remains frequent hand hygiene as well as hygiene of shared surfaces and objects, including door handles.
