This sometimes happens. It may be from a hormone in the IUD.

Usually, when this happens, the effect wears off in less than 2 months.

So I recommend that you just avoid touching your breast to avoid making it more tender and wait for it to pass. If you have "spikes" of pain, we can take Tylenol™.
