Hello, I have had the IUD mona lisa 10 for 3 days. At first I had spotting and pain as intense as contractions. The pain has become the equivalent of menstrual pain, but the bleeding is more abundant and there are clots. My last period was about 3 weeks ago, but I usually have cycles of 75 to 90 days.

Hello Mrs,
The copper IUD can indeed increase bleeding and cramping/pain for several weeks.
If this persists or worsens or impairs your quality of life, you should consult your doctor.
