I have a cough with expectoration, can I use the inhalers prescribed a few weeks ago for another indication?

Hello, for the last 3 days I have had a good cold or flu. The covid test is negative even though my spouse's is positive.

Good morning, ma'am,
Do you have any other symptoms such as a runny or stuffy nose (even a little)?
Have you tried or taken anything for your symptoms?

Yes, I have a stuffy nose and pressure in my ears but it must be related... I took a tylenol for a cold and sinus but since I have a liver problem I try not to take it. I still blow my nose and take hydrasense

Thank you for the information!
You did well with Hydrasense, it is the first line of treatment for the symptoms you describe. The cough is most often caused by secretions from the sinuses coming down the back of the throat, so this is the most effective measure. You can use it as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. I also suggest drinking plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference
For the initial question regarding your inhalers, I strongly suggest that you redirect it to your pharmacist who will be the best person to answer you, considering that she has more information regarding the use (on the prescription).
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
