How do I know if the pump is empty or if he is receiving the dose?

Since there is no dose counter on the Flovent device, the only way to know for sure if there are any doses left is to count and record each time you activate the device. Once you reach the number of doses listed on the manufacturer's packaging, there may be propellant left but no medication.

After that number of times, a new device must be used.
