I used Polysporin and now my eyelids are very swollen. Is this a consequence of conjunctivitis or a reaction to Polysporin?

I had the beginnings of what I thought was conjunctivitis (my spouse had just had one). Application of drops: 2 drops per eye 2 times. I did not see a doctor.

Hello Ma'am,
It is very rare for a person to have an allergic reaction to Polysporin™ drop, but it is not impossible.
In such a situation, it is best to go and show your eyes to a pharmacist to judge for yourself (not possible here on the web). A decision will then be made to avoid the medication or to continue it depending on your symptoms and the evolution of the swelling.
It's a pleasure,
