I have a kidney stone and I had 2 urinary infections in 1 month. Is this because of my kidney stone?

Hello! 😀
No, but there are cases where the kidney stone is formed because of a UTI (the bacteria secrete substances that form a "stone" at the kidney).
I would like to know:
How many UTIs do you have in 1 year? What are your symptoms currently?
Thank you!

Hello,
It's been a really long time since I've had a UTI. I had an infection the day after I was discharged from the hospital due to my delivery. I was hospitalized for one day (Jan. 13) and had intravenous medication and a 10 day supply of medication. Friday it started again so I have more medication to take for 10 days.

If you don't use them often it may have been the delivery and medical manipulation that caused the UTI. For the current episode, take your antibiotics as prescribed and if there is no improvement after 2-3 days of use, I recommend going to see a doctor again.
In general, there are steps you can take to avoid UTIs such as staying well hydrated, not holding back from urinating, cleaning up after sex, and wiping from front to back after having a bowel movement.
Happy day!
