In order to understand your question, I have a few questions of my own: 1- I understand that you are not taking any contraceptive at the moment, but do you have any at all (e.g. Micronor) following your delivery? 2- How many times a day are you breastfeeding? I am waiting to hear from you :) Emmanuelle Thank you for the information! Your question is very interesting and it allows me to learn more about the subject myself. In my reading about the "luteal phase defect" I learned that it could be associated with a lack of progesterone post ovulation. The ovaries should produce progesterone during this phase to prepare the endometrium for "nesting". If the ovaries produce less progesterone (cause?), then the period comes faster. I don't think this situation could be solved with an over-the-counter medication, and I haven't read anything about vitamin B6. In addition, in order to understand the problem, you should consult your doctor to have certain hormones measured and thus get a clearer idea of your situation.
