Can you take melatonin with zoloft?

I have been taking zoloft 50 mg for 25 days and am in withdrawal from ativan. I was wondering if melatonin at bedtime might be an option as I have trouble sleeping?

Hello,
There are no interactions noted between these 2 medications.
Melatonin is indeed a good choice to try for insomnia, as it has few side effects and is well tolerated by patients. Note that if you take Ativan and melatonin at bedtime, there is a risk of increased sleepiness. So I would encourage you to be vigilant about this effect.
There are several products sold on the shelves in pharmacies. I advise you to ask your pharmacist's advice to find the right product and the effective dose for your situation.
I hope I have answered your question.
