Can a pharmacist prescribe the medication or only the doctor

Hello, I strongly believe that my daughter has impedigo. She has had pimples in clusters on her chin and side of her mouth for 2 days. No other symptoms. Can a pharmacist diagnose and prescribe the medication or do I absolutely have to go see a doctor? Thank you!

Only a doctor can make a diagnosis. However, I invite you to show the lesions in question to your pharmacist who will be able to start an evaluation and suggest a product if deemed necessary, and ensure a close follow-up with your child.
