Can a pharmacist prescribe antibiotics for a UTI?

URINARY TRACT INFECTION DURING PREGNANCY Can a pharmacist give us medication for a UTI? I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I'm sure I have a UTI but the lack of availability for appointments is difficult... I guess there are options without clogging up the emergency room for a simple UTI ?

Good morning, Mrs,
Unfortunately, it is impossible to prescribe a treatment if you are pregnant, as this is a risk factor for an infection that could cause complications.
If your symptoms persist, you should consult a physician to properly assess the situation and, if necessary, not delay treatment.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
