Can a pharmacist give me smaller doses of a medication prescribed by my doctor, or do I need to see my doctor again?

I have been taking cyclobenzaprine 10mg for several years at night before bed to help with muscle pain from arthritis. I would like to stop it because I am getting better, and I want to get pregnant. My physiotherapist has recommended that I taper off the dose to make it easier.

Flexeril exists in one dosage, but yes, the pharmacist can accompany you in the withdrawal without problems. Discuss it with him!
