Hello, I have a 7 week old baby who has a lot of reflux. At the doctor's request, we thickened his milk with cereals and changed his milk for Alimentum. However, almost 3 weeks after these changes he still has reflux and now he even refuses to eat and cries/cries while drinking his bottle.
Is the pharmacist allowed to prescribe an antacid until I have an appointment with his doctor?

Hello, thank you for your question! I'm sorry to read about your troubles! However, pharmacists cannot prescribe this type of treatment to children because the situation requires a special follow-up
I am therefore obliged to ask you to consult a doctor for your child.
