Can I take an antihistamine while taking venlafaxine (Effexor)?

Hello, I am currently taking 150 mg of venlafaxine for an adjustment disorder with mixed mood diagnosed in November. Since October, I have noticed that I get hives when my skin is exposed to cold (wind on my hands, cold water). I didn't care because the hives disappeared quickly in the heat and I just had to put on gloves. I also thought it was related to my situation and the anxiety I was experiencing. However, for the first time today, I am starting to have a reaction in my face. After a short walk outside, I had large patches under my eyes, cheeks and forehead. I felt like I was frozen, like I had a pressure on my face. Although I plan to talk to my doctor about this at my next appointment, I would like to know what I can do in the meantime.
