I'm afraid he'll get dehydrated. What can I do to prevent this? Thank you

Hello, My 22 month old boy has been throwing up 6-7 times in 2 hours. He constantly asks for water but I feel like it always makes him throw up again.

Hello Mrs,
First of all, you will have to relieve/control the nausea. I strongly recommend that you contact your pharmacy to obtain Gravol which is available without prescription and in various forms such as oral liquid or rectal suppository.
As for the next steps, continue to encourage your baby to drink but very gradually, like a sip every 3 to 5 minutes.
Thereafter, favor light foods such as soups, broths, toast, eggs, brown rice, and avoid very fatty or very sweet foods such as red meat and undiluted fruit juices.
I hope this has been helpful and am available if you have any further questions!
