I have small red spots and white spots on the bottom of my tongue. What can I do about it?

For 4-5 days now, I have had small red spots and white spots on my tongue. They are located at the bottom of the tongue and do not touch the throat or the sides of the mouth at all. It is not associated with an itch, but at times it causes a slight discomfort when swallowing. I don't think I had a temperature and I don't have any pain.

Hello Madam, in order to better understand the situation, would it be possible to know if you have tried anything for this problem, if you have any allergies, intolerances or known contraindications, if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant?
Thank you for your time!

Hello, I have tried Tylenol and Advil, but no change. I have no allergies/intolerances and I don't want to get pregnant.

Thanks for the feedback!
Tylenol or Advil are usually the first intentions, with or without lozenges like Halls or FIsherman's Friend among others.
I would also encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference.
If the situation persists for 7 days without improvement, I consider it necessary to consult a doctor as a precaution.
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
