Hello, I have a 10 month old girl who is regularly constipated (has her stools but they are hard and she cries). What should I do?

So I give her high fiber foods like prunes, but if she doesn't have any or enough, she constipates again. I would like to try giving her lax a day to give her a chance, but I don't know how to calculate the amount needed. Can you help me with this? Thank you for your help!

Good evening ma'am,
With pleasure!
What is your daughter's recent weight?

It weighs approximately 22.5-23 lbs.

Thank you.
For Lax-A-Day™, a starting dose of 1g per kilo (weight) is generally used. So, for your daughter (10 kg), a dose of 10 g should be used.
The scoop provided with the product measures 17 g (the adult dose). We would then look to give about a little more than half a scoop. Be aware that it is okay if the dose is not extremely accurate (but still be careful not to give too much 😊), as children are sometimes given slightly larger doses of this product.
