Liquid and abundant losses.........................................................................................

23-year-old woman2 years ago
Hello, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 3-4 days ago and since then I have had heavy liquid discharge. They are not particularly different from usual (no smell). I am used to having vaginitis (often following an intercourse) so I have Riva Fluconazole in my prescriptions at the pharmacy, should I take a tablet? Thank you for your help!

Well, this morning my discharge is slightly green... but it can't be a its. Also, no itching.

Hello,
The presence of greenish vaginal secretions can mean the presence of a bacterial infection, which cannot be treated with fluconazole
This is a symptom that requires medical attention (doctor or GP), even if the symptoms go away on their own. Some infections that cause these symptoms may remain latent and still require treatment.
It would be possible to be examined at the CLSC sexual health clinic.
An appointment can also be made at no charge at www.rvsq.gouv.qc.ca and in a very reasonable time frame.
Sorry I can't do more today.
