I have had dark, almost black discharge twice this week. I have been taking the pill continuously for several years now. I started training a few days ago, and I think that this discharge corresponds with the beginning of this training. I am also going through a lot of stress right now. However, I am often stressed, being an anxious person, but I never have this dark discharge. I had my period about 1 month ago. I don't know what to do, especially since this is on top of the many stresses I have right now.

Hello Ma'am,
In times of stress, the heart may react differently to the presence of the pill in your body. In fact, since the pandemic began, many patients have complained of "spotting" or brownish discharge. This is because the body seems to metabolize and eliminate the pill more quickly during times of stress. This is especially true in people who start working out again, which allows the body to eliminate the pill even faster.
Sure, it's unpleasant, but it doesn't indicate that you're any less protected. The pill is still just as effective.
Continue to work out. Eventually the body will settle down and then the pill will be better able to control the small brownish discharge.
Good day,
