When should I take my antidepressant?

Hello, I started taking 25mg of zoloft in the evening at supper as recommended 3 days ago. I was sleeping very well before, but now I am unable to sleep at night. Can I, for example, not take my dose at dinner tonight but take it the next day at breakfast? If I persist in taking my evening dose, do you think that the side effect could be resolved with time?

Hello, thank you for your question! If you find that the medication prevents you from sleeping, then yes you can certainly try taking it in the morning instead.
