Hello,
There are many elements to consider in your question. I will try to answer it as precisely as possible, but first I need to ask you some questions.
Do you have any other urinary symptoms? Urge to go to the bathroom? Pain when you urinate? Pain in the lower abdomen? Fever?
Is the weight loss recent? Fast or slow?
How is your appetite?
Do you have any other symptoms worth mentioning?

Hello,
Since I drink about 3L of water/day, I frequently go to the bathroom. I have no pain and no fever. I have changed my diet to health foods only. I reduce sugars and carbohydrates to a minimum. It has been about 3 weeks and I have lost about 15lbs. I am a little tired but otherwise no other symptoms. I continue to take my Alesse pill at the same time every day

Obviously, your weight loss is related to the change in your diet. The decrease in sugars and carbohydrates is probably causing the fatigue you are feeling. So the main thing is that the blood in the urine and the weight loss may not be related.
If the bleeding persists, I would suggest that you talk to a doctor quickly. According to what you describe, it is not vaginal bleeding, but urinary bleeding
On the other hand, it is difficult for me with the current symptoms to evaluate if it is really a urinary infection and that is why I am referring you to a doctor
I hope I have answered some of your questions. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
