I am losing a HUGE amount of hair (definitely more than average). Is this normal? What should I do?

I don't take any medication. I have the small IUD that lasts 3 years. I have no allergies. I have headaches from time to time (sometimes it can be 2-3 times a week, and at least once a month). I believe I have a healthy diet.

Hello Ma'am,
Many things can contribute to hair loss, such as stress or a recent pregnancy.
From your side, is this hair loss new?

Hello,
I would say it has been more noticeable for at least 5 months. Also, I've never gotten pregnant.
Maybe it's due to stress, but I don't feel like I'm more stressed than usual. And I don't feel like I lose more hair during my finals (at school), for example.

Thank you!
Depending on the type of hair loss, one has several treatment options.
The problem is what to examine the head before one can find the right treatment.
In my opinion, to avoid delaying the management of your situation, it is best to see a doctor. We'll be able to find the cause and initiate treatment.
It could be hormones, stress or a scalp problem, among other things.
Happy evening :)
