How long do I have to tolerate nausea with Trintellix?

Hello, I have been taking trintellix 10 mg for a week. I have been having heartaches every day since. Do you think this side effect will eventually pass and if so normally in how many days?

Hello, thank you for your question!
Indeed, this is a frequent side effect of trintellix, but it is usually temporary
However, if it is intolerable for you, I invite you to contact your pharmacist who can suggest a decrease in dose, even if temporary, to help you better tolerate the medication.
I hope I have been helpful to you, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions

When you say it's usually temporary, could it be 2 weeks? If it persists after 2 weeks, it could mean that this effect can remain?

Yes, we give ourselves a maximum of 2 weeks, because if it starts to impinge on our quality of life, we won't be any further ahead!
I don't know if it will last forever if the nausea lasts more than 2 weeks, but 2 weeks of nausea is enough to consider alternatives, including a decrease in dose.
