Hello, My 4 year old daughter has white pimples that have appeared on her tongue. She complains that they sting and she seems uncomfortable. She does not have a fever and is eating well.

Hello,

my daughter is 4 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. For about 24 hours she has had pimples that have appeared on her tongue. Some are small, some are bigger and are red/white. My daughter mentions that it stings, but nothing more. She is eating well and does not have a fever. Thank you!

Thanks for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I hadn't seen the notification!

If there are no other symptoms and she is in good general condition and eating well, I would only suggest monitoring the situation.

What you can do on your end is to make sure she has a soft wire toothbrush, and avoid spicy or irritating foods.

A paste like Orabase can help reduce the irritation when she eats, and does not require a prescription.

If it persists for more than 7 days without improvement, you should consult as a precaution.
