Hello . When I take my anti pressor I feel tired. I've been taking them for a few years now and this is the first time this has happened to me.

Good morning, ma'am,
By tired, do you mean that the medication is making you drowsy?
  • Which medication is it?
  • Do you take it in the morning or evening?
  • Has there been a change in dose recently?

I take prozac 40 mg. I take it in the morning. The medication makes me amorphous

Thanks for the feedback!
If the medication is causing you this fatigue, have you ever tried taking it at night? Did you have this effect at 30 mg?

No, I've never tried it. Can you do it? When I was taking 30 mg it didn't do that either. This is a new symptom.

Thanks for the clarification!
If you suspect that this is a side effect of Prozac, I would try taking it at night. We could have an idea of the effectiveness of the 'change' after 7 to 10 days.
However, if it doesn't work, I strongly suggest that you discuss it with your pharmacist: he/she can adjust the dose, even temporarily, to 30 mg, to see if the fatigue effect can be reduced while maintaining the effectiveness of the treatment.
