I have dandruff in my hair. What products can you recommend?

Yes, Head & Shoulders™ is a good option for dandruff. There is another product that would be more effective, ketoconazole 2% (Nizoral™). However, Head and Shoulders™ has the advantage of being able to be used alone as a shampoo, whereas Nizoral™ is applied after a gentle unscented shampoo. Nizoral can also cause irritation and burning to the hair. Either one is a good option. Nizoral should be applied 2-4 times a week for 2-4 weeks. The Head & Shoulders™ should be applied at least twice a week, but can be used daily. You should maintain a contact time of approximately 5 minutes on the hair. You should see effectiveness after 2-4 weeks.

If you have dry skin patches, you can soften them with warm mineral or olive oil. Massage properly then leave the oil on the plaque for a few hours or overnight. Wash with shampoo afterwards.
