I have dry, itchy (and red) skin on my bikini area after a trip where I spent the week in a wet bathing suit. What should I do?

Hello Ma'am,
This can indeed be explained by the prolonged moisture caused by the presence of the swimsuit. To reduce the itchiness and redness, you now need to make sure that this skin is dry (like coming out of the shower). You could also apply a hydrocortisone type cream (e.g. Cortate™) that can be found without a prescription at a pharmacy. You can apply it for 2 or 3 days at a maximum of 3 times a day. You will see that it will reduce the itching and redness a lot. Be careful, however, not to apply it directly to the vulva, but only around the perimeter.
