I read 2-3 months before conception, but hard to predict if in 2-3 months it will work.

Hello,
It is recommended that you start taking folic acid 2 to 3 months before you stop using birth control, i.e. before you start 'trying' to get pregnant.
Your pharmacist, after a consultation, will be able to recommend and prescribe you the appropriate dose.
